The colors chosen to decorate each of the rooms, as well as the fantastic vintage furniture found in them are responsible for the appeal of this Nordic apartment. An apartment with a spacious and well-lit living room that serves as access to the rest of the rooms.
The rooms are painted in soft cool tones. The subtle gray-blue of the walls extends beyond the dining room to the first living room and the bedroom later. In all these rooms, classic Danish furniture, most of it inherited from the family, is combined with modern pieces.
The living room draws attention to the great bookstore which frames the door to the bedroom. It is a visually light shelf, in which books are combined with small sculptures and family memories. The Moroccan carpet, the leather sofa and the white marble table also stand out.
The dining room is possibly the room that has attracted my attention the most, I love how they play with color and light. Oak chairs, designed by the Dutch Piet Hein Eek and the fantastic matching lamp made by the Serbian artist and designer Ana Kras. In the dining room there is also space for a small work area, very simple but practical
The kitchen was restored when the family that occupies it today moved into the house. The furniture was preserved but painted a light blue color and a tiled front to achieve contrast with both the wall and the stainless steel worktop.
The bedroom, which is in the back room of the apartment, has been simply furnished. With the doors open, the bed dressed in a white quilt and pillows can be seen from the dining room. A chair serves as a table and has a large built-in wardrobe from top to bottom.
