In my daily experience as interior designer I do different types of projects, so it is not difficult for me to recognize those that are masterfully done. This is the case of this residence located in the 55 Blair Road, Singapore.
We are facing a work that combines elements of the more avant-garde decoration, Art deco original and the traditional oriental architecture, achieving a dazzling spatial and visual experience. The clever use of materials, light and natural elements convert this contemporary style house in a haven of peace and tranquility in the heart of the city.
The house has a total of 288 m², divided into three floors. The ground floor can be considered as living area and entertainment. It has a spiral staircase which is quite a sculpture, in addition to a spacious living room and living room. We also found a beautiful garden interior with pool, very japanese style and contemplative air, always minimalist. The tree frangipani, associated with Buddhist and Hindu cultures, brings character with its twisted trunk, while prodigiously connecting with the metal elements.
In the upper floors we find the different stays, dresser and the bathrooms. A great skylight provides natural lighting and ventilation, placing at its base the garden and Swimmingpool, to which we peer through the glass walls. The complementary affinity of contrast between the metallic elements and subtle tones get a lovely sensory relationship. This is increased with the installation domótica which serves to configure the lighting of the entire house according to our mood.
The house spaces they are characterized by their continuity, which makes us perceive them wider by minimizing the existence of partitions. This also facilitates light input and distribution, and promotes greater relationship between inside and outside.
La traditional facade restored finish wrapping this contemporary style house giving its unique touch.
