After several decades relegated to oblivion, deer have returned with force to the world of decoration: If years ago there was no room that did not have a canvas, a tapestry or a sheet with deer motifs, today what cannot be missing is a head of this animal presiding over the room, although we are grateful that the obsolete dissected models have given way to other designs much more suggestive.
One of the most demanded is the deer head in ceramicEither elegantly enameled in white like the one in the image above or painted in acid tones like lemon yellow or lime green, which add a playful and carefree air to the living room, hallway or hall. The recovered and painted antlers or the self-assembling models in ecological cardboard are also recurrent, in a kind of chic tribute to the nature wild.
These designs of cardboard or past-partout that are sold disassembled in flat boxes are the ones that allow the most variations, you just have to let your imagination fly and dare to give them our personal touch, using wallpaper, vinyl or washi-tape rolls, like these decorated in houndstooth or with a country iconography, perfect for the bedroom of a dreamy and creative soul.
There are versions for all tastes depending on the atmosphere that we intend to give to each stay; the model covered in silver sequins fits wonderfully into this sophisticated and modern living room, contrasting with the coldness of the glass and the pristine white of the walls. A deer wrapped in newspaper using the decoupage technique offers a more radical, avant-garde and mysterious point that does not leave you indifferent.
There are also fun models adapted to the children's world like stuffed deer as toy hunting trophies (although I personally find them disturbing…), or sculptural alternatives like this model made from recycled wood sticks in the shape of a deer of deliberately distorted proportions. Does anyone dare?

I did not know that there were deer heads in so many different materials
,
I still do not like that type of decoration but at least it is good to know that with these materials there may be fewer dead animals
If instead of deer they were bulls, national drama in sight
Please Where can you buy these deer heads or other animals? Thank you. I love your blog. A hug
