- Pot and substrate: Dracaena does not require large volume pots to grow; what's more, you prefer that these fit your size. A mixture of peat, soil and sand will provide the necessary base to grow. They are plants that require a good drainage to avoid waterlogging and a slightly acidic substrate.
- Light: Like many of the species in tropical environments, they require light for their optimal growth, but they do not support direct exposure to the sun. Lighting yes, but not direct.
- Watering: Dracaena Marginata should be watered when the soil has dried out. If the plant accumulates an excessive amount of water in its roots, they end up rotting. What they will appreciate will be the water sprays occasional, since like all tropical plants they require certain humidity.
