Color It is one of our most recurring themes. At Decora we like to show you different proposals, from the most serene to the most striking to give life to your home. Since gray was proclaimed as a "trend color" to paint the walls, there are several occasions that we have mentioned it.
When it comes to transforming or giving life to a gray room, the green color becomes one of the most attractive possibilities. We can introduce it through furniture, accessories, textiles or natural elements like plants. And the latter is precisely the decorative proposal that we are going to focus on today.
Introducing part of the "wild" world outside into our home is simple and at the same time attractive. Plants provide freshness to our home, but also a natural touch that is always interesting, decoratively speaking. And you don't need to have great gardening skills, we promise!
Sanseviera, Chamaedorea elegans, Aspidistra, Cheflera, Adam's rib, Ficus benjamina ... these are just the names of some of the hardy and easy plants to take care of those that you can bet on indoors. All of them are green plants; ideal for lighting rooms in which gray tones predominate.
Green plants they are a great ally to give life to large empty walls, painted in gray tones. The most appropriate in these cases is to choose tall plants and place them on large concrete, terracotta and / or plastic pots with rounded shapes. Pots in gray tones, if we want only the plant to stand out or in white, black or earth tones if we want both elements to do so.
We can also use smaller pots and place them on dressers or side tables to give color to the living room or bedroom. A last proposal, no less interesting than the previous ones, consists of using hanging rocking chairs; they are quite a decorative trend and do not take up useful space.
