How to clean painted wood

When you have a painted wood at home you may not know how to clean it to avoid damaging the paint, but in general it is not a good idea to use water on painted wood because it can damage the paint and leave an ugly appearance on the surface. The usual thing is to clean the dust regularly on the painted wood so that it does not get more dirty than necessary. But if, for example, you want to clean painted wood with water very occasionally and dry it well, then nothing bad will happen to it.

But when you want to do a deep cleaning on painted wood, you can do it in the following way: start mixing a tablespoon of liquid dish detergent (as mild as possible) in a little warm water (the less water you use the results will be much better). You will need to have a damp sponge to clean with the soapy water solution, but remember that the sponge will never have to be completely soaked.

Keep scrubbing the dirtiest parts of the wood first, then rinse the sponge in the soapy water and clean the entire painted wood again. Then you will have to throw away the dirty water that you have used and refill it with clean water. Get another sponge for clean water and rub the entire wood to remove any soap residue left on the surface.

Do not forget that afterwards you will have to rub the wood with a towel to dry it well and making sure you dry every small crack that may exist well. Don't let it air dry because water can create unsightly stains. Remember that this way of cleaning painted wood can only be done when you want to clean the surface deeply and never to do it regularly.
