If we are in charge of creating a dream room for our little ones, why not start at the door? That reflection has led us in Decoora to look for simple proposals for you with which to give a unique touch to doors of children's rooms. Are you accompanying us to discover them?
At least once a week in Decoora We show you different proposals to decorate the children's spaces. This week, our goal is none other than to make the door to every child's room stop being boring. What? Using vinyl, washi tape or paint to transform them.
Vinyl and washi tape
Stickers are our first choice. Why? You ask. The answer is very simple; They are a clean alternative. The 'Made of Sundays' decorative vinyls allow you to organize the elements however you want, depending on the size of your surface; so it is very easy to work with them. We can also work with washi tape to create borders and other motifs to decorate the door; nothing happens if you make a mistake, it is an adhesive that can be easily peeled off and re-pasted.
Whiteboard
Blackboards are a gift for any child; Through them they can express themselves and unleash their imagination. When the room is small and the walls are cluttered, a chalkboard door can provide fun and at the same time give an original touch to the entrance. In case you were thinking ... you won't have to buy a slate door; all you have to do is paint the current door with chalkboard paint.
Painting
Another way to transform a child's bedroom door is by using colored paint. We can paint the door completely or create geometric patterns using masking tape to delineate the areas. You can use bright colors, pastel colors or make motifs in black and white. You just have to choose the proposal that best suits the style of the room.
Beyond painting, it is inevitable to look at the double door of the image above. Dividing the door in two and creating another door at the bottom that only children can enter is a fantastic idea, do you agree? It will make them feel special and they can use it in their games.
