Kitchen elements that will never go out of style

kitchen items

If there is something that I like in homes, it is that it has a beautiful kitchen since it shows the personality of who has designed it and who has chosen every detail. That the style of a kitchen is a trend does not mean that it is timeless, far from it! There are kitchen trends that are incredibly beautiful that last a short time because they follow a fashion ... so when time passes they are no longer so "incredibly beautiful".

On the other hand, there are other types of trends in the decorative styles of kitchens that will never go out of style because people will always like them. These trends do not mean that they are better than others, but they are simply guaranteed thanks to their elements to be able to resist between people's tastes over time. Normally it happens when these trends are also accompanied by resistant materials and with good taste ... and I want to talk to you about this today.

Open kitchens

A kitchen that is too closed does not like anyone, people like to feel the amplitude of the spaces and to achieve this, you cannot miss having a kitchen in which you can tear down the walls if necessary. Open kitchens encourage interaction and entertainment, since they combine use with practicality, so it can be turned into a great living space.

LED Lighting

LED lighting is winning by landslides to traditional lighting, because in addition to being cheaper on the bill (it may cost you something more expensive when you buy the bulbs, but in the long run it is much cheaper), it creates an incredible light in your kitchen. White lights are the most demanded for this space, But you can choose the one you like the most according to the decoration, the area to be illuminated and of course, your tastes and interests.

An induction cooker

An induction cooker will always be a trend in the decoration of a kitchen and it will never go out of style. It is safe, fast and aesthetically pleasing. As if that weren't enough too it is easy to clean and you can keep the surface safe to play on some models. Plus, you can add a powerful hood to open up creative design possibilities.

An island in the kitchen

An island in the kitchen is an element that will never go out of style in the decoration of the kitchen, in addition to beautifying the room they are also very practical. What's more they will give you privacy in the kitchen and a place where you can cook or prepare food.

Ceiling decoration

People forget how important ceilings are and how beautiful they can be is overlooked. You can decorate the ceiling with colors that match the decoration of your home and even use moldings to create a different and original environment.

Multifunctional furniture

Multi-function furniture is also a great idea as timeless items, how can something that is practical and functional go out of style? Impossible! A drawer that opens in several areas, a side table that turns into a coffee trolley, a table that opens and closes to accommodate guests in the kitchen, etc. The multi-function kitchen furniture is furniture that will never go out of style, you just have to find the ones that suit you best.

Open shelves

Open shelves are also an element that will not go out of style for long as they are practical, elegant and functional. Open shelves are great for any size kitchen, they will help you create a feeling of greater spaciousness, light and space in your kitchen. As if that were not enough, you can always have the things you need organized and at hand.

Stainless steel

If there is something that does not go out of style and that never will, it is undoubtedly stainless steel in the kitchen. Stainless steel continues to reign in the world of appliances and kitchens. It has professional and very commercial roots, but it is also ideal for homes since it is resistant, durable and can be integrated into any kitchen with style.

Wooden floors

There are those who think that wooden floors are not an option for kitchens, but nothing is further from the reality that they are a most viable option. A well-treated wooden floor for the kitchen will be an element that will not go out of style because it will bring great warmth and elegance to this room. You can have a warm and welcoming atmosphere for many years and will be able to fit in with any style, creating a perfect room.

Quartz countertops

Quartz countertops are a material that can fit into any decorative style with which you want to decorate your kitchen, and in addition to providing elegance, it can last for decades. Quartz countertops require less maintenance than granite and it also offers a timeless appeal that other materials are not capable of making you. As if that were not enough, the shiny surface is less dominant than in other materials, so it is very likely that you will not get tired of it before your time.

Porcelain floors

Porcelain floors happen exactly the same as with wood, you can have a warm and very cozy atmosphere, but the difference is that it will be much more difficult to maintain. So in this case if you want to decorate your floor with porcelain floors it will also be a good idea, as long as you know that maintenance will not be easy.

A large sink

If you really want to make a difference and that there is an element that makes a difference, then you will have to think about the wash of your home. Ideally, it should be a fairly large sink with a high-performance model that can prevent splashing as well. you will be able to have a suitable wash for your kitchen and for you.

Are there elements in your kitchen that you think will never go out of style and that will always be well received in decorations whatever the style?

    Who has written this article?

Open kitchens serve only to impregnate the rest of the house with odors and grease. Who wants to stay up late watching sardine-scented TV? Who wants to get up for breakfast with that same smell? If you have a closed kitchen, even a small one, you can close its door and open its window, that way the smell will soon leave the kitchen but it will not pass to the living room or the rest of the house.

The issue of fats is also important, they are impregnated in curtains and upholstery.

They are a good idea if you are not going to cook almost and the spaces are so tiny that you can hardly even circulate through them but of course pulling the kitchen partition is not always a good idea, far from it.

Led lighting, like the fluorescent tubes that were so fashionable, may have their days numbered. It is valid for under the cabinets that are hung on the wall, but you will always need a traditional lamp hung from the ceiling, with a low-consumption light bulb, the electricity bill is also reduced.

As for open shelving, there is no better way to evidence the mess. If you are tidy up to the irrational and absolute, among everything in our kitchen it matches, I don't see why not, but have a stainless steel pan, a black one, some plates from one set, with others from another set, cups and different glasses ... They do not stick together, better all hidden. And let's not talk about the mess that those kitchens make in which people have cereals on the bench because it is something of the day to day ... Undeniable that when everything is collected it is much cleaner in sight.

I like stainless steel for appliances and hood, but not to put a large frieze behind the fires, it gives the impression of an industrial kitchen and that really has its days numbered.

Wooden floors do not tolerate grease well. They can burn with oil (I do not mean to set fire, but the drop will stay permanently) and they retain much more grease than a ceramic floor, marble or any other non-porous material. The microcement, once treated, also repels dirt.

Very much in agreement with the quartz tops. Unlike wooden ones, which are very much in vogue, they do not retain fat or moisture and are easy to clean.

Porcelain floors are the traditional ones in kitchens as always, what is now worn and gives a more modern look (due to the continuity between the tiles, the straightness of the edges and their non-glossy finish) are rectified porcelain floors. There are them with finishes of imitation of wood, steel, slate, etc.

A large sink. Totally agree. Much more useful one large than two small ones.
