When we want to design a new room in the house, the first thing we have to think about is the color We want to give both the walls and the furniture or fabrics, and we must first take into account what this room is going to be used for. It is not the same to decorate a children's bedroom, a guest room or the master bedroom.
If what we are looking for is a neutral decor, without major color contrasts or striking tones, today I want to give you some ideas to combine different colors and create a relaxed atmosphere.
Gray and white:
It is one of the most neutral combinations that exist. We can use from pure whites to charcoal gray combined with each other and with all the intermediate variety. In addition, this color has the advantage that if in the future we get tired of the color and want to add a touch of color, we can add any tone to the decoration that we already have as a gray base, because it admits any tone, however daring it may be. We can also add some pastel touches in pink or light blue to break with the coldness of pure gray.
It perfectly supports both black and white furniture and can even be combined with more or less neutral wood tones such as pine.
It is a perfect match for newborn's rooms, adult bedrooms, living rooms and living rooms, and even for kitchens and bathrooms.
Beige, white and brown:
Another very neutral color combination that turns the space into a quiet area are the earth tones combined with beige and white. They are colors that are reminiscent of nature, stones and wood and that produce tranquility wherever they are placed.
We can use a very wide range of colors within this option, from the lightest tan or camel to dark earth that we can combine at the same time with small touches of orange color and with wooden furniture, either dark or lighter.
