White and radiant spring

Although the trends continue to mark emerald green, yellow and coral as the tones of this spring, the color white continues to be one of the protagonists in home decoration. Having overcome the prejudices that define blank spaces as dull, boring or cold, we must recognize their obvious advantages: Gives visual freshness, makes spaces more open, contributes to improving lighting and provides great warmth when combined with the right accessories.

The undeniable beauty of white is enhanced if it is chosen both for the structural elements (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, radiators ...) and for the furniture: In this room the only concession color is given in the exposed wooden beams and in the natural leather carpet; in the bedroom, books and photo frames are responsible for adding personality to the room. It is essential to choose furniture of good quality, resistant and easy to clean, since being white, the passage of time is appreciated much earlier.

In this French-style kitchen you play break the pristine white combining it with slight touches of color, almost ethereal: The gray clear on the wall, the lamps or the cushions highlight small details such as the pale green of the chairs, the wicker accessories or the sepia tone of the huge painting that presides over the fireplace.

Nothing relaxes more in an office or study area than a pure white environment that helps to concentrate and capture the light you need to rest your eyes in front of the book, tablet or computer. At garden or terrace the white color unconsciously refers us to the south, with relaxation areas inspired by Moroccan chill outs or Andalusian-style whitewashed patios, although the standardized use of accessories has changed towards more original elements: sheer curtains that are placed outside as umbrellas / mosquito nets, support tables hung from a tree as if they were swings, or lamps that serve as pots for plants.
