The landscaper Diana Balmori has been in charge of the design of "The Garden that climbs the stairs", in the city of Bilbao.
Conceived as dynamic urban space next to the Isozaki Towers, the garden accompanies the passerby on their journey up the stairs, with its undulating lines of different textures and colors. The lush plantation is arranged as one waterfall, changing with time and seasons. It is a garden of contrasts, between Facilities native and exotic, flowers red and green grass, and the latter with gray pavement.
Although temporary, the garden has been part of a international urban garden competition that is celebrated in Bilbao, with enough international repercussion.
