There are charming houses and this is undoubtedly one of them. Located in The Hague, Holland, this house from the 1800s has been recently renovated by the interior designer Hedda Pier for your family, focusing on space, light and colors. The result, we show you today.
The designer has been able to create spaces with a simple and minimalist aesthetic; Scandinavian style spaces in which the notes of color add sparkle and warmth. To highlight, the living room, with an eclectic mix of old and new furniture, and the children's bedrooms, fun and charming.
The living room is a bright space with great natural light, amplified by white painted floors and walls. Here they combine old and new furniture; antique like the original fireplace with marble mantel and modern like the artwork or accessories. The half walls and colored furniture that move between blues and greens provide warmth.
Colder is the kitchen, for my taste, the weak point of this house. Contemporary in style, it has numerous wardrobes and a beautiful oak wood table they become the center of attention. It is surrounded by chairs of various styles, some of them pastel blue like the Smeg refrigerator.
The bedrooms are decorated with great detail. In the double room it is inevitable to look at the main wall covered with a wallpaper that imitates wooden planks. A very special touch for a simple room that has elements as simple as those wooden boxes completing the decoration.
And we finished today's tour at children's rooms. The room with pink skirting is for a princess and has as its strengths the leather armchair and the bookcase. Neutral colors are the protagonists of the nursery, which is brought to life by vibrant colors.
