We start the week discovering the inside of a fantastic Mountain House. To do so, we must not travel very far. All you have to do is go to the Ripollés region, in the province of Girona. Yes, there is this house designed by Mogas Arquitectes.
The house was designed so that no trees on the property had to be cut down. It is a manufactured home, moved by road in three modules: bedrooms, kitchen / living room and deck. If I like something about this house, it is that it was made entirely of wood and decorated in a minimalist way.
The exterior of the house is striking both for its trapezoidal shape as well as the modern elements that have been integrated into the façade. The window frames, with a modern aesthetic, contrast with the wood paneling. In this way, a perfect balance between the traditional and the modern is achieved, don't you think?
Although without a doubt what has caught my attention the most about this wooden house is its interior. I especially liked the kitchen. The dashboard tiled with hydraulic tiles. Also noteworthy is the natural set made up of the wooden table and the wicker chairs. And what about that little library?
Probably that little library be the most powerful reason why I have decided to share this home with you. It is an ideal place to relax, don't you think? And a way to take advantage of the height of the ceilings to maximize the home. In the same module as the kitchen is the living room, simply decorated with a wood stove and warm textiles.
The bedrooms have a minimalist aesthetics. They are narrow bedrooms in which the decoration is "poor"; Only find a painting decorating the walls. They are, however, serene spaces, in which it is not difficult to imagine resting. That is what they are designed for, nothing else.
