I'm sure there are many of you who have temporarily used a chair like nightstand. It is usually common among those who move to a new home yet to be furnished. It is a simple and practical proposal that has permanently become a trend.
It is not the first trend in decoration that arises from an accidental event nor will it be the last. And given the images, I will not be the one to put dirt on it. Since the chair can perform a double function, it seems to me an especially interesting proposal to decorate small floors.
In a house there are never too many chairs. We probably don't need more than 4 or 6 chairs more than twice a year, but having them saves us from having to turn to friends and family on those occasions. The problem comes when lack of space they hinder us. Well, in this proposal we have a solution.
If we use the chairs as side tables, in addition to solving the practical fact of having a space next to the bed where to place a lamp, the clock or the book we are reading, we will be giving utility to an element that could otherwise hinder us.
Chairs as tables are only practical if we have enough storage space in cabinets and dressers; otherwise we would be giving up the extra space that bedside tables with drawers offer us. Its base will help us to place a lamp, some books or a plant if we limit ourselves to its decorative aspect.
So that the chairs do not look like something accidental, we will have to pay attention to their choice. Some chairs classic wooden they will fit perfectly in neutral rooms. Decorate them or paint them in pastel tones and they will become the perfect complement to a vintage room. In more modern environments, we will bet on metal chairs in bright colors or chairs with ergonomic shapes.
