Decorate your table in a rustic way this Christmas

Rustic table for Christmas

It's time to start thinking about the many details that go into Christmas. We have little more than a month to prepare a menu and find the right details to decorate the table where we will seat our guests. If you are still lost, you might like the following rustic proposals that we have collected for you.

Last year it was the neutral colors those who dressed our table for Christmas, do you remember? This year in our first proposal for Christmas we bet on simplicity and warmth of the natural. For the wild centers, the intimacy of candlelight and natural materials, wood and linen.

Five are the proposals that we have selected for you. All of them with an undeniable rustic air but with obvious differences. Our first proposal is the one that offers the greatest contrast; combines wooden elements «coarse» as are the table and the underplates, with elegant plateresque elements and careful glassware.

The second proposal is more balanced. If it weren't for the attention to detail, we wouldn't have included it in our Christmas selection. In its decoration, it has opted for the simplicity of nature; some vessels with aromatic herbs and some candles serve as a centerpiece. The decoration is completed with a linen tablecloth and some corsages of mint and lavender tied with some strings, simple, right?

The third proposal continues the line of the previous one, but it is more elegant. A modern cut white dinnerware serves as a counterpoint to the rustic details. Wood, linen napkins and the natural elements are once again protagonists here. Presenting the menu on each plate brings a certain distinction and is a fantastic idea with which to surprise guests. You only need a computer and some predesigned templates, if design is not your strong suit.

As you can see, all our tables have "large" centerpieces. If you want to add dishes to share to the table, they will get in your way, so we recommend not abusing them or incorporating elements that you can remove without the table being bare.
