Today I want to give you some tips so that you can do it and also make it so simple that in the future you can also do it without problems.

First of all you will have to gather the materials, you will need: a brush suitable for painting bricks,  plastic sheeting, painter's tape, a stabilizing masonry solution for the brick, brushes, paint, roller tray, rollers of different sizes and angled brushes. But once you have everything, how do you have to paint a brick wall?

  1. You will first have to sweep the entire brick surface with a brush to remove all waste that it may contain.
  2. Then you will have to cover and protect the furniture or any surface with rags or plastic bags.
  3. Painter's tape is important for mark the perimeter of the brick wall.
  4. You will have to have the room well ventilated and apply a stabilizing masonry solution to the brick and let it dry (you can find it at the hardware store). This will seal the brick and you can prepare the surface for painting. Drying time will depend on the climate of your environment, but if necessary apply another coat.
  5. When the brick is dry apply the desired paint on the wall. Small rollers and angled brushes will help you give full coverage.

It is easier than you think right now, just go to your paint store and get the necessary materials and the color that you like the most. If necessary, let yourself be advised.
