Ideas to organize your study area

Study area

Anyone who has had to prepare exams, either because they have studied a career or prepared for public examinations, knows how important it is to have a study space well organized. A space without distractions in which you can have all your study supplies at hand and in order.

When one must study a large number of hours a day, it is necessary to design a suitable space. A large table on which to 'scatter' the study material, some lockers or shelves in which to organize it and good lighting are key factors to achieve it.

Concentration is key when one must prepare for an important exam. Have your own space no noise or distractions, contributes to creating the right environment to achieve it. A neutral and orderly space, with the necessary furniture for the study, will do the rest.

Let's start with the table; a wide table it is key to feel comfortable. How many of you swapped your little desk for the kitchen table in high school? Another essential element is the chair, an ergonomic chair in which we adopt a suitable posture so as not to suffer back pain.

Some drawers under the desk will also be of great help. We can collect the computer in them, when it is not necessary and constitutes a distraction. They will also help us to keep things that we do not need regularly in order. The most recurrent study material will be preferable to keep in sight and at hand, on a shelf.

We can use on the shelves filing cabinets and boxes to separate and sort the material by subject. Among these we can also place a personal object or plant that provides warmth to the space. This must also be a nice place; it doesn't have to be cold.

We will also need good lighting so as not to "fall asleep". And other elements will be useful, such as a blackboard or cork, to take notes and organize our time. What other elements do you consider essential in a study area?
