El purple brings uniqueness to our living room or living sauce. It is a little exploited color, and as such it is daring. Intense shades such as those that today star in our proposals, are difficult to find and yet they provide the space with a unique light.
As a general rule, everything that is not familiar to us gives us a certain respect. It also happens with colors. That's what it's for Decoora, to show you alternative proposals and take away your fear. Proposals like the ones we offer you today and in which we incorporate the color purple into the living room through the walls, furniture and / or textiles.
Decorating a room in a dark purple tone is not as risky as it might seem a priori. Combining it with neutral colors like white or gray we can achieve fantastic results. Conservative results in terms of color, but contemporary or modern in terms of design.
We must bear in mind that the purple tones that we propose today, will darken the environment. Therefore, if we do not have abundant natural light, it is preferable to incorporate it in a single wall and / or through different furniture and always combined with light tones, as shown in the images above.
If you are looking for a less conservative and riskier proposal, you can combine purple with bright colors such as turquoise blue, yellow y green lime. Colors that will also bring a lot of light to the space, even incorporating them in "discreet" elements such as cushions or rugs.
More daring you have to be to create a set in shades purples, reds and greens. It would never have occurred to me and yet it works as shown in the last image. Today, we can find interesting applications that offer us different combinations for the same color; a fantastic tool to figure out in advance which works and which does not.
