Today I bring you a compilation of some of the rarest buildings in the world. Architectural works absolutely out of the ordinary in different parts of the planet. It is curious to see them, since some are very famous constructions by renowned authors and others, however, are unknown works.
Many of these buildings were created as a symbol of power and innovation, others as a product of the ambition of their owners, and others were simply the whim and ingenuity of an architect. It is up to each one of them to decide whether the urban landscape is improved or damaged by these constructions.
Among these constructions we find several located in Spanish territory: the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, belonging to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Foundation and designed by the architect Frank O. Gehry: a mass of random titanium curves of which its author says "the randomness of the curves is designed to catch light", and they do so with brilliant reflections from the foamy waters of the Nervión River. We also find a work by Gaudí, the Casa Milà in Barcelona, popularly known as “la Pedrera”, or the Torre Galaeta located in Girona, a building crowned with huge eggs signed by the extravagant artist Salvador Dalí.
