Yucca Lounge, a space of pure surrealism in Shanghai

With a sophisticated air and a traditional soul, Yucca lounge it was created under strong artistic roots. Designed by the studio Lime 388, the environment is located in the Sinan 26F Building, a restaurant complex, owned by renowned Greek-Australian chef David laris.

The manifestation of elements that seem to come out of works of Frida Kahlo y Dalí determine the strong character of Yucca Lounge.

Armchairs of different classical features compose environments in a correct way with colonial seating, supported by neutral auxiliary furniture. Employment of highly vibrant colors that invite in a disconcerting but delicious way to live this gastronomic experience. A eternal contrast that melts with the use of a faint but warm lighting.

The final touch is given by the all-important decorations: cushions with print Pop art, baroque chandeliers (a very successful support for night lighting) and, of course, traditional elements of Mexican culture (I love skulls). Everything rests on an impressive mosaic floor. It looks like an authentic surreal artwork born from the hands of Frida.
